For more information, please visit: www.alpaswellnesscenters.org Job Summary: The Group Facilitator is responsible for the delivery of Alpas' Substance Abuse and Mental Health curriculum for patients in our residential recovery program. The curriculum, and training, will be provided for the facilitator to ensure quality and consistency in its delivery. There may be occasion for the Group Facilitator to work with the Clinical Director to develop new curriculums.

Requirements

  • CAC-AD, CSC-AD, AD-TRAINEE, IN THE STATE OF MARYLAND
  • Strong verbal, written communication, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment as well as independently
  • Proven ability to handle multiple projects under pressure.
  • Must have strong knowledge of a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, and presentations
  • Understands need for, and maintains, appropriate confidentiality at all times when interacting with patients, residents, families, visitors, referral sources and all other contacts.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure that groups are delivered professionally and effectively to meet desired learning objectives
  • Engage with the recovery community in a culturally competent way, in and outside the group setting
  • Complete group notes and all other paperwork as assigned
  • Perform any other job-related duties as assigned
