Supplemental insurance benefits What is needed for this job as our Group Ex Wellness Supervisor: 21+ years of age College degree in related field preferred 2+ years of experience and national certification in fitness and strength training and/or Group Exercise upon hire Exhibit strong leadership skills; possess a passion for member service, building and maintaining a culture of member service excellence The responsibilities we will trust you with as our Group Ex Wellness Supervisor: Creation and maintenance of Group Ex schedule for the branch Attend bi-weekly meetings with supervisor Assessing studios on a daily basis for cleanliness and organization Inventory equipment daily to be able to place orders for class needs Obtain certification in Livestrong and assist with classes programs Must be available for shift coverage or call outs Oversee monthly maintenance of all Group Ex equipment Document and report equipment maintenance needs Maintain compliance of staff certifications Enjoyment from working with people on a fitness floor Lifesaving certifications (CPR & First Aid) - training provided Excitement about helping members learn new equipment and about public health topics Team player with a commanding, positive presence and passion for connecting with members and building relationships Assist with the operation and supervision of wellness center, staff and programs to ensure a friendly and encouraging environment for members in the usage of fitness and wellness programs and services Learn member names and encourage regular exercise routines and record keeping Cultivate and develop relationships and follow up with telephone calls, emails, correspondence, etc. to assist the member in achieving their wellness objectives as required Maintain knowledge of wellness trends, participate in training and development Provide guidance in equipment usage, and if appropriate, direct members to qualified staff for personalized fitness programs and personal training Provide consistent support to all members using the facility Provide wellness consultations and administer other health and wellness programs as required Enforce wellness center policies and age restrictions. Monitor member use of equipment and weights Ensure member safety and protect property Maintain knowledge of emergency and safety procedures, provide care in an emergency, document all incidents/accidents on the appropriate forms. Requirements

  • 21+ years of age
  • 2+ years of experience and national certification in fitness and strength training and/or Group Exercise upon hire
  • Exhibit strong leadership skills; possess a passion for member service, building and maintaining a culture of member service excellence
