The Group Director – North America (Eastern Region) is responsible for leading and scaling Ontic’s enterprise sales execution across the Eastern United States. Reporting to the SVP of Sales, this role carries full regional revenue accountability and direct leadership responsibility for five Enterprise Account Executives. The Eastern Region team is responsible for driving 80% new logo acquisition and 20% expansion revenue within existing enterprise accounts. The Group Director will be accountable for performance across the full sales lifecycle - pipeline generation, deal execution, forecasting accuracy, and regional market development. This role is ideal for a results-driven enterprise sales leader who brings operational rigor, strong coaching acumen, and executive presence - capable of setting regional strategy while remaining deeply engaged in deal execution and cross-functional alignment.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of senior sales leadership experience in enterprise software, SaaS, or related B2B technology sectors.
  • Proven success leading enterprise Account Executives selling into Fortune 1000 and complex enterprise organizations.
  • Demonstrated track record of exceeding regional revenue targets in a quota-carrying leadership role.
  • Deep understanding of enterprise buying cycles and ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments.
  • Strong analytical and operational discipline, with experience in forecasting, pipeline management, and performance measurement.
  • Exceptional communication and executive presence, with the ability to represent Ontic to C-level audiences and partners.
  • Experienced in cross-cultural leadership and managing distributed, high-performance teams.
  • Strategic thinker with strong negotiation skills and the ability to translate vision into measurable results.
  • High integrity, collaborative spirit, and strong alignment with Ontic’s mission and values.
  • Willingness to travel extensively (50–75% expected) across the region.

Responsibilities

  • Own and deliver regional revenue targets across new logo and expansion business.
  • Drive consistent execution of enterprise sales methodology across a team of five Enterprise Account Executives.
  • Maintain rigorous pipeline hygiene, forecasting accuracy, and performance reporting.
  • Personally engage in strategic accounts and high-value opportunities to accelerate deal progression and improve win rates.
  • Partner with the SVP of Sales to establish metrics, performance standards, and best practices that enable scalable growth.
  • Represent Ontic in the Eastern Region through executive meetings, industry events, and strategic partnerships.
  • Partner with Marketing to optimize regional demand generation and field engagement.
  • Collaborate with Sales Consultants, Customer Success, and Product to strengthen deal strategy and customer outcomes.
  • Work closely with Legal, Finance, and Operations to ensure compliance, efficiency, and alignment in regional deal execution.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team of five Enterprise Account Executives.
  • Establish a strong, inclusive, and performance-driven culture that reflects Ontic’s core values.
  • Provide mentorship and structure to develop team capability, accountability, and collaboration.
