About the role HealthFitness is seeking an enthusiastic Group Class Instructor to join the fitness team at our corporate client site in Jackson, Tennessee. This is an on-call, substitute opportunity—perfect for an instructor who enjoys flexibility and making an impact when needed. Shifts are scheduled as needed between 11:30 AM and 1:00 PM, with classes running in short, energizing formats: 11:35–11:55 AM 12:05–12:25 PM 12:35–12:55 PM If you’re passionate about leading engaging group classes and supporting workplace wellness, we’d love to connect!
Requirements
- Current group exercise instructor certification from ACE, AFAA/NASM, ACSM, NETA, NCCPT, or other NCCA nationally accredited class certification required.
- Adult CPR/AED and First Aid certifications from American Heart Association, American Red Cross or American Safety & Health Institute required prior to start date.
- Ability to navigate electronic onboarding and timecard systems required.
- Applicants must meet hiring requirements including but not limited to pre-employment drug test.
Nice To Haves
- 2+ years group exercise instruction experience strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for providing fun, effective, and safe group exercise to members such as dance, kickboxing, step, boot camp, and circuit.
