ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Front Line Leadership: Responsible for managing shift duties of the clean andsafe ambassadors while ensuring compliance with all Block by Block standards,best practices, procedures, and policies. Being fair and holding the teamresponsible for completing projects and remaining productive. Responsible forcommunicating and leading daily shift briefings while assigning duties andzones, reviewing events, weather, and safety updates to Ambassadors. Providingexcellent customer service in the BID and towards the team of Ambassadors.Provide guidance and direction for the on-street and in the field operations. Reporting: Must be able to provide written reports of broken infrastructure,graffiti on private property, and provide a basic daily report ofaccomplishments and tasks completed. Must be able to provide direction andcounsel to team members and report concerns to the Operations Manager. Professionalism: Must maintain a positive, professional environment in fullcompliance with applicable laws, regulations, policies, procedures, and overallBlock by Block standards of expected professionalism. Clean, neat, and buttonedup. Physical Abilities: Must have the physical capacity to traverse continuouslyduring an eight-hour shift, with normal breaks (two fifteen-minute, and onethirty-minute meal break). Must be able to work outdoors in all conditions withprovided inclement weather gear. Communication: Must be able to speak, read, and write the English language inorder to create basic reports. Requirements

  • Prior managerial/supervisory experience
  • Special project/Maintenance background - fixing banners, pressure washers,and operating other machines
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs or more when needed.
  • Basic knowledge of smart phone technology
