About The Position

Under the direction of the Director of Facilities, the Maintenance Supervisor provides operational leadership and oversight of day-to-day groundskeeping activities across all assigned UR Medicine/Finger Lakes Health facilities. This position is responsible for coordinating staffing, scheduling tasks, and ensuring the upkeep and appearance of exterior grounds and related equipment. The supervisor also serves as the primary on-call contact for grounds operations from November through April and as otherwise directed.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• 5-years in groundskeeping and/or facilities maintenance
• Valid NYS drivers license
• Demonstrated ability to work with people in a professional and courteous manner and to work effectively with stressful situations

Nice To Haves

• Associate’s degree in Facilities Management or relevant field
• 2-years of supervisory or lead experience in maintenance or grounds operations
• Pesticide License within 6-months of hire
