Basic Responsibilities 1. Work as directed by the immediate supervisor and/or the Grounds Manager. 2. Work as a team in maintaining the grounds in your zone in an effort to enhance the beauty of ACU 3. Assist other trades and grounds personnel as needed in the spirit of cooperation and team work. Essential Duties include the following. Other duties may be assigned. 1. Follow established rules & procedures of the Landscape & Grounds Department and ACU. 2. Display necessary work initiative to work alone or in groups. 3. Maintain the grass, hardscapes and other areas associated with ACU grounds to the University standards. 4. Mow, weed-eat, and edge grass areas. 5. Empty and pick up trash in our area daily or as needed. 6. Keep hardscapes clean and free of debris. 7. Be on call 24 hours for inclement weather events. 8. Clean and maintain the equipment to extend the life of the University resources. 9. Perform work in a safe manner.
