About The Position

We are looking for energetic and motivated individuals who want a great career at a growing company. We are seeking a full-time, experienced Grounds Technician. Responsible for supporting property services, grounds work, and turnover season operations. To maintain all outdoor and common areas in a safe and attractive condition. The Grounds Worker is a vital component of our community’s day to day impression on existing residents and prospective residents. As such the Grounds Worker is expected to maintain a high level of quality customer service and professionalism and ensure that property has the highest level of curb appeal 365 days a year for MSC Apartments.
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED
- Must be available to work Monday-Friday, 7:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. and overtime/weekends as needed
- Must have valid drivers license
- Driving a Company vehicle with trailer is required
Responsibilities
- Trash pickup around grounds and dumpsters; service dog waste stations
- Sweep, mop, and scrub stairwells (scheduled routine work)
- Drive company truck and trailer (trailer-pulling experience required)
- Operate equipment: mower, weed eater, blower, chainsaw
- Retention pond cutbacks and bush/brush clearing
- Complete small repair jobs (gates, speed bumps, assembly, etc.)
- Communicate clearly with management and crew regarding completed work
- Snow removal operations at varying hours during snow events
