ELS is hiring for the position of Grounds Patrol in Pulaski, New York. What you’ll do: The Courtesy Patrol Supervisor provides a courteous, visible and reassuring presence for members and guests. This position schedules, delegates, directs and supervises the work of the courtesy patrol staff. Your job will include: Interview candidates, train new employees, conduct performance review s and recommend disciplinary actions and terminations in conjunction with managers and the Human Resources department. Conduct multiple property patrols each day. Communicate with the Resort Manager every day to receive an update on potential issues and review patrol logs from the previous shift. Prepare a daily patrol log of critical situations for management review. Respond to all after-hours calls in a timely manner. Complete incident reports and take photos when necessary. Secure and lock amenities and common area buildings at designated closing times. Monitor exterior lights and report outages to the Resort Manager. Maintain communication with the local police department and Resort Manager and call 911 in the event of an emergency. Maintain strict confidentiality with respect to sensitive company, personnel and member/guest information.

Requirements

  • High school diploma, or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 3+ years of customer service experience, preferably in an RV business environment.
  • Experience working with a financial receivables and reservation system s .
  • Solid computer skills.
  • Exceptional communications, customer service and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds on an occasional basis.
