Tessera is seeking a Skilled and professional Grounds Maintenance Worker with a positive attitude to maintain and repair grounds up to and around facilities. The role involves various groundskeeping tasks and basic equipment maintenance. Requirements

A valid state driver’s license is required with the ability to obtain and maintain coverage by Tessera’s insurance.
Access to a federal military installation requires a REAL ID-compliant driver's license or an acceptable alternative, such as a U.S. passport or military ID, in accordance with the REAL ID Act.
Must be able to obtain and maintain applicable security clearances and installation access.
A background check and E-Verify will be conducted for this position.
Satisfactory proof of U.S. citizenship is furnished.
Work both independently and in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
Read and understand contract requirements and maps.

Nice To Haves

6 months experience in grounds maintenance or prior laborer experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Maintain and repair the grounds up to and around the facilities.
Perform mowing, trimming, edging, weed and brush control.
Pick up and remove all rubbish, debris, and trash (which includes, but is not limited to; rocks, paper, pine cones, limbs, and other portable objects) within the maintenance area and all trash, papers and limbs lodged in shrubs, hedges, fences, and along foundation walls.
Load large wheel barrels with debris.
Perform basic maintenance of grounds equipment.
May operate a tractor and/or mower, weed eaters, chain saws, pressure washer and brush cutters.
Demonstrate ability to multi-task throughout workday, with constant interruptions.
Utilize company cell phones.
Respond to phone calls promptly.
Remove snow from walkways, driveways, roads, or parking lots using shovel and snow blower, spreads salt on walkways and other areas.
