About The Position
The Grounds Maintenance Worker 2 performs skilled and semi-skilled manual and equipment-operation work in the landscaping and grounds maintenance around POA facilities. May require independent judgment in the disposition of routine matters without direct supervision. Will work under the direct supervision of the Grounds Maintenance Superintendent (will also act as a lead person in their absence).
Requirements
- Must have a High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to obtain and/or maintain a valid driver’s license.
Responsibilities
- Provides support for the department.
- Performs the operation of power and hand tools and all vehicular apparatus used in landscape maintenance.
