Grounds Attendant/Cleaner
About The Position
The Grounds Attendant/Cleaner is responsible for maintaining a safe, clean environment for guests at Peddler's Village. Key duties include cleaning and stocking outdoor restrooms, disposing of ground trash and trash from cans throughout the Village, and assisting guests by providing directions and information in a friendly manner. This is a full-time position, requiring 40 hours per week, with mandatory availability on Saturdays and Sundays. Typical shifts are Thursday through Monday, from 7:30 am to 4:15 pm. The workplace is located 30 miles north of Philadelphia, and public transportation is not available for this location.
Requirements
- Requires valid driver's license and reliable transportation to Peddler's Village
- Must be able to freely access restrooms throughout the day while occupied with guests.
- Must be able to manage multiple tasks and to execute quickly.
Responsibilities
- Primarily responsible for the cleanliness and upkeep of our outside restrooms.
- Replenish supplies in restrooms soap, toilet paper, etc.
- Ensure that cleanliness and courtesy standards are met.
- Assist maintenance and festival staff.
- Pickup and disposal of trash in assigned area as well as ground trash.
- Assist with snow removal and landscaping when needed.
