About The Position
Heidelberg Materials is one of the world's largest suppliers of building materials. Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees. Perform general clean-up and maintenance of plant grounds and equipment Assist with material handling and equipment operation as needed Monitor and report equipment or safety issues to supervisors Support plant operations by following safety and operational procedures Participate in team efforts to maintain a safe and productive work environment
Requirements
- Demonstrated ability to work safely and follow safety protocols
- Capability to perform physical labor in varying weather conditions
- Willingness to learn and operate heavy equipment and tools
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Dependable and self-motivated with a positive attitude
- Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check
- Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing
Responsibilities
- Perform general clean-up and maintenance of plant grounds and equipment
- Assist with material handling and equipment operation as needed
