Grossing Tech Group Lead
About The Position
The Gross Tech Group Lead position is intended for individuals with prior experience working as a gross technician. The individual in this position will perform all routine gross technician functions, handle escalated issues and troubleshoot quality issues. The individual will be responsible conducting gross examinations of surgical pathology specimens under appropriate supervision. The individual provides supervisory level coverage for the day to day operations of the surgical gross area in the supervisor’s absence. The individual will work closely with the pathologist(s) to oversee the grossing area. This position is intended for laboratories without pathologists’ assistant level grossing personnel.

Responsibilities
- Perform all routine gross technician functions

- Provide supervisory level coverage for the day to day operations of the surgical gross area in the supervisor’s absence
