About The Position

The Grocery/Dept Leader is responsible for creating an outstanding customer experience through exceptional service, establishing and maintaining a safe and clean environment, and directing and supervising all functions, duties, and activities for the department. This role supports the day-to-day functions of Grocery operations, embraces the Customer 1st strategy, and encourages associates to deliver excellent customer service while demonstrating the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety. Smith’s Food and Drug, based in Salt Lake City, Utah, merged with The Kroger Company in 1998 and serves customers in over 140 stores across multiple states. • Direct and supervise all functions, duties and activities for the department.
• Support the day-to-day functions of the Grocery operations.
