About The Position

Do you love helping customers, staying organized, and keeping shelves looking their best? Join us as a Grocery Associate and play an essential role in keeping our store fully stocked, clean, and welcoming. You’ll support daily operations by maintaining product quality, organizing backstock, and delivering excellent customer service. WHAT YOU’LL DO Stock shelves efficiently using proper product rotation to maintain freshness and accuracy. Maintain organized work areas, floor sets, and backstock to ensure accessibility and support department efficiency. Check for expired product and follow department procedures for processing and removal. Label and date products accurately according to department standards. Build, maintain, and reset product displays in alignment with merchandising expectations. Monitor product conditions and proactively address issues to reduce shrink. Assist with quarterly inventory counts and department-wide organization. Provide excellent customer service by helping customers find products and answering questions. Communicate stock shortages, damaged items, or safety concerns promptly to leadership. Follow all safety, sanitation, and operational procedures to support a clean and safe work environment. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to learn quickly. Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently in a fast-paced environment. Respectful, timely, and clear communication with peers and leadership. EXPERIENCE Retail experience preferred but not required. Minimum age of 16 required; must be 18 years or older to operate equipment as permitted by law. Physical Demands: Sufficient physical ability and mobility to work in an grocery store setting; to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time; to occasionally stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist; to lift, carry, push, and/or pull light to moderate amounts of weight of up to 50lbs; to operate office equipment requiring repetitive hand movement and fine coordination including use of a computer keyboard; and to verbally communicate to exchange information. Repetitive hand movement. Utilization of proper PPE when using appliances and equipment. Employees must be able to climb and balance on step stools or ladders, stoop, kneel, and crouch as needed. Repetitive arm and hand motions, as well as reaching above shoulders and horizontally to stock and retrieve inventory, are essential. Working Environment: Work is performed primarily in a grocery store setting with extensive public contact and frequent interruptions.
