About The Position

Francis Manufacturing Company is seeking grinders for second shift (3:30pm - 2:00am). Experience is welcomed but not necessary. Grinders are responsible for grinding and smoothing seams and rough edges off of our castings before they are sent to our customers using various grinding equipment. This position may also train on saw operation or other areas/equipment relating to the Grinding and Finishing Department. This position does train on day shift (6:00 am - 3:30pm) before moving to second shift. Limited positions on day shift may be available. Experience is preferred, but training is provided on the job. Great work ethic, initiative, and team work are all a plus. Good attendance is required. Francis Manufacturing Company works with area staffing agencies and you will initially be hired through an agency for approximately 8 weeks. During this time your overall performance and attendance will be evaluated and a determination made as to your potential for hire. Excellent Wages and Benefits: beginning pay at $22.00/hour with increases every 4 weeks.
