Requirements

Nice To Haves

  • Machine Operator experience preferred
  • Experience in a manufacturing setting preferred
  • RF Scanner experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Follow computer generated formulations step by step.
  • Scale and grind meats producing up to 10 preblends/hour.
  • Empty mixers into two vats, each weighing approximately 2900 pounds.
  • Move vats, weighing approximately 2900 pounds of product, from under mixer to staging area.
  • Level tanks, keep the floor clean at all times, and follow general housekeeping duties.
  • Use the computer-generated formulator for specific meat types to hit correct fat percentage for blends (once every 3 minutes).
  • Complete SAP functions with issuing meat prior to additions. (complete for one blend every 6 minutes).
  • Complete grinder head checks.
  • Complete all necessary paperwork.
  • Comply with all safety, food safety, GMP and SQF requirements.
  • Perform all positions of job rotation as needed.
  • Perform any other work as assigned by management.
  • Ability and willingness to perform basic math functions (i.e.: addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
  • Ability and willingness to work overtime and/or weekends as needed.
  • Ability and willingness to scan or input into computer system, all product film, boxes, casings, clips, and ingredients for all daily product runs, including change overs.
  • Ability and willingness to follow formulations on the computer and accurately record and report food safety or product information.
