About The Position
We are seeking a skilled Grinder to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in machining with the ability to operate various grinding machines and tools. This 1st shift position requires attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality components that meet precise specifications.
Requirements
- Proficient in operating CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, and other machining equipment
- Familiarity with CNC programming and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing)
- Strong mechanical knowledge
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to machining tasks
- Ability to read blueprints accurately for effective production planning
- Experience using hand tools
- Knowledge of quality inspection processes using precision measuring instruments
Responsibilities
- Operate grinding machines to produce precision parts according to specifications
- Perform setup, calibration, and maintenance of grinding equipment
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine machining requirements
- Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers for quality inspection of finished products
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to production schedules
- Performs other related duties as required and may be assigned
