Candidates who have previously worked for Tyson will have a minimum rehire waiting period of 180 days and are limited to 3 times of employment. Job Description: Operating and maintaining grinder blender machines to ensure the production of high-quality food products.

Requirements

Candidate must have 6 months of employment withh one employer in the last 12 months.
Must be willing and able lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs.).
The Team Member will stand extended periods up to 8 hours.
The Team Member will work in a cold environment.
The Team Member will use manual dexterity for operating machinery and handling products.

Responsibilities

Prepare necessary paperwork and retrieve the production schedule from the formulator.
Check all equipment and the surrounding area at start-up for condensation on drip pans, framework, etc.
Lock out the grinder following proper Lock Out/Tag Out procedures.
Assemble the grinder after carefully observing all parts for damage.
Test and set up the fat analyzer.
Ensure that all guards and doors are in the closed position before operating the equipment.
Operate grinder feed belt and hopper.
Inspect product during processes.
Document weights.
Complete grinder checks.
Notify FSQA and/or supervisor of any contaminates.
Adherence to all food safety and hygiene regulations is essential.
Other duties as assigned.
Must be able to read and understand manuals, blue prints, plant paperwork, labels, etc.
