Candidates who have previously worked for Tyson will have a minimum rehire waiting period of 180 days and are limited to 3 times of employment. Job Description: Operating and maintaining grinder blender machines to ensure the production of high-quality food products.

Requirements

• Candidate must have 6 months of employment withh one employer in the last 12 months.
• Must be willing and able lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs.).
• The Team Member will stand extended periods up to 8 hours.
• The Team Member will work in a cold environment.
• The Team Member will use manual dexterity for operating machinery and handling products.

Responsibilities

• Prepare necessary paperwork and retrieve the production schedule from the formulator.
• Check all equipment and the surrounding area at start-up for condensation on drip pans, framework, etc.
• Lock out the grinder following proper Lock Out/Tag Out procedures.
• Assemble the grinder after carefully observing all parts for damage.
• Test and set up the fat analyzer.
• Ensure that all guards and doors are in the closed position before operating the equipment.
• Operate grinder feed belt and hopper.
• Inspect product during processes.
• Document weights.
• Complete grinder checks.
• Notify FSQA and/or supervisor of any contaminates.
• Adherence to all food safety and hygiene regulations is essential.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Must be able to read and understand manuals, blue prints, plant paperwork, labels, etc.
