About The Position

Duties and responsibilities Cleaning food preparation areas, cooking surfaces, and utensils. Cooking multiple customer orders at one time. Maintaining sanitation, health and safety standards in work area. Assisting with the cleaning, sanitation, and organization of the kitchen, kitchen equipment, walk-in coolers and freezers, and all storage areas. Washing, cutting, and prepping food items for actual or anticipated orders. Measuring ingredients required for specific food items being prepared. Mixing ingredients. Operating large volume cooking equipment such as mixers, slicers, ovens, grills, deep fat fryers, and/or griddles. Reading food order tickets or receiving verbal instructions as to food required by members and preparing food accordingly. Verifying that prepared food meets requirements for quality, presentation, and quantity. Cleaning, stocking, and restocking workstations. Following recipes. Creating nightly specials and advertising them Additional duties, responsibilities, and special projects as directed by management.
