The Grievance Manager , in the Contracts and Compliance Bureau, leads and oversees the grievance process for the Montana Department of Corrections. In this role, you will manage all components of the grievance program, including policy development, program requirements, funding oversight, budgeting, data analysis, and reporting. You will interpret and monitor compliance with all relevant guidelines, laws, and regulations, and may conduct investigations into complaints or potential violations within the department. The Grievance Manager also supervises at least six full‑time employees and is responsible for department-level management functions such as hiring, performance management, discipline, workload distribution, and employee development in conjunction with the Contracts and Compliance BC.
