Works within Children's Wisconsin Grief Services, and collaboration with other hospital teams like complex care, to support children and families experiencing living loss, anticipatory grief and grief due to bereavement. Helps families navigate grief, works on a treatment plan and manages the stresses of loss, including emotional, physical, mental, social and spiritual; connects with other support services. Provides support for children and families affected by trauma and loss, and peripheral trainings for the organization and community partners specific to living loss, coping, grief, critical stress management and resiliency. Assists with other work with the agency as requested. Responsibilities include being current on different therapeutic techniques for our grieving populations and maintaining best practices.
