Job Overview The therapist is flexible, willing and able to provide ongoing counseling services to Adolescents ages 13 to 17, who need grief support services in a group setting. The therapist must possess the skills necessary to work within a team and have awareness and previous implementation of evidence-based protocols. The position has a level of service in regard to face-to-face hours with clients. The therapist role is an integral part of the Counseling Center Team in helping to ensure the highest quality of service to our clients. As an integrated health organization Acenda values the use of evidence-based practice or EBP's. Program Info Our Counseling and Wellness Centers offer weekly mental health counseling to children, teens, families, and adults as well as parenting and psychiatric services. Individual therapy is offered as well as family therapy, group therapy, and medication management. Acenda is now accepting new clients for counseling services both in-person and via telehealth—a remote phone or online therapy & counseling solution. Medicaid, Aetna, AmeriHealth, and other insurances accepted.
