About The Position

We need individuals who are passionate about making a difference by helping others. We are seeking a Clinical Nursing Supervisor for our Greenwood Clinic.  This position is responsible for supervision and coordination of staff and operations providing services for clients receiving psychiatric care. It provides direct services in a clinic setting as scheduled as well as completing Greenwood clinical duties as assigned. This position is 40 hours a week, Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. This assignment is in person at 790 Fuller Ave NE Grand Rapids, Michigan 49503.

Requirements

  • Nursing degree.
  • Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in Michigan.
  • At least five years of experience as a psychiatric nurse or experience in nursing supervision.
  • Knowledge of biological factors in mental illness.
  • Knowledge and understanding of psychiatric medications.
  • Knowledge of clinic procedures and practices.
  • Knowledge of State and Federal laws regarding privacy and HIPAA.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and pharmacology in a mental health setting.
  • Knowledge and ability to work within the American Nurses’ Association Standards of Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing practice.
  • CPR certification.
  • Possession of a valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation for job related use.
  • Ability to work independently and make independent judgments and decisions based on professional knowledge.
  • Computer skills including word processing, spreadsheets, database management, data entry, and email.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely with clients and in stressful situations.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to adhere to Network180 policies resulting from HIPAA privacy rules regarding individually identifiable health information concerning individuals served or employed by Network180.
