Greenhouse Labor, Full Time/Seasonal
About The Position
The seasonal Greenhouse Labor position travels (often overnight) through the week in a semi or box truck to our retail locations to assemble temporary greenhouses in the retail locations we serve in MN and surrounding states from approximately March 16-May 1, 2026. There may be opportunities to work in the greenhouse facility from approximately early May-early July. From July 6-July 25, this position will travel to the same retail locations to disassemble the greenhouses. SAFETY: Safety is a top priority at Dan and Jerry’s Greenhouses, you will take an active leadership role in promoting a safe working culture. We want all employees, customers, and guests to Arrive Safe, Be Safe and Leave Safe.
Requirements
- Basic hand tool experience.
- Ability to be on the road for 5-6 nights at time during peak season (lodging expense and meal allowances are provided.)
- Able to work on a team, take direction and promote safe working habits.
Nice To Haves
- Basic construction or handyman experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Road Crew Responsibilities: Weekly travel (including overnights) to retail locations.
- Work on road crew team in set up and tear down of seasonal greenhouses at our retail locations.
- Greenhouse Facility Responsibilities: Be flexible in the needs that arise in the facility.
- May be asked to work in shipping, plant care or production.
- Warehouse duties as assigned.
