About The Position

Responsible for processing applications from contractors and funding loans within the requirements of the loan policies established by the Credit Union. Perform other clerical duties as assigned.

  • Ability in math, 10 key, and computer.
  • Ability to complete work accurately with minimal supervision.

  • Demonstrated cooperative and positive attitude toward contractors and other Credit Union staff.
  • Professional in appearance, attendance, quality, and quantity of work performed.
  • Self-motivated and takes steps to continually expand knowledge of financial and green lending industry.
  • Must be willing to comply with the Bank Secrecy Act and USA Patriot Act as implemented by Idaho Central Credit Union.
  • Perform tasks requiring manual dexterity (processing paperwork, filing, stapling, sorting, collating, typing, etc.
  • Sit for extended periods of time.
  • Lift 20-40 pounds of applicable supplies including but not limited to copy paper, laptop, marketing material, etc.
  • Repetitive motion using wrists, hands, and fingers.
  • Reach keyboards.
  • Ability to operate basic office machines (calculator, computer, telephone, copy machine, fax machine, etc.).
  • Must be eligible for membership at ICCU to obtain employment.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare, fund and merge loans.
  • Perform stipulation verifications, ensure accuracy of loan contracts and make decisions within limits.
  • File and organize all incoming and outgoing documents. For example: Signature cards, applications, and contracts
  • Maintain green lending collateral records
  • Enter new vendor information into relevant systems
  • Monitor milestones in project such as Notice of Interconnection and Permission to Operate
  • Assist in month-end balancing and report preparation
  • Participate in department and credit union projects that pertain to green lending funder duties
  • Assist contractor personnel in completing loans with correct and accurate information
  • Communicate and build relationships with contractor personnel
  • Review incoming contracts to verify required information is compliant with checklist
  • Keep daily record on incoming pipeline of loans
  • Working knowledge of Word and Excel with the ability to write procedures and develop spreadsheets pertaining to department functions
  • Assist branch team members with member/applicant questions
  • Assist loan servicing with questions about loan recasts and subordinations
  • Maintain department designated daily performance levels
  • Maintain continual education through Green Team University
  • Crosstrain and support other functions within the department
  • Other duties as assigned.
