Make your mark on Jewish student life by joining Michigan State University Hillel as the Greek Life and IACT Coordinator. IACT (Inspired, Active, Committed, Transformed) is an initiative that builds on the success of Taglit Birthright Israel by providing community, support, and inspiration to students before and after their trip. The Greek Life and IACT Coordinator will support students before and after their Taglit-Birthright Israel experiences, creating opportunities for them to stay engaged in Jewish life on campus. They will encourage students to take on leadership roles, participate in student-led Jewish programming, and connect with Israel-related opportunities both on and off campus. This role is more than just a job—it’s a chance to wake up each day (or at least most!) feeling genuinely excited and motivated to help students explore, experience, and build meaningful connections to Israel. This is so much more than your average 9-to-5. MSU Hillel is “the place to be” for more than 2,700 Jewish students at MSU. Students take ownership of Hillel as their Jewish community center on campus. Our mission is to enrich the lives of Jewish students so that they may enrich the Jewish people and the world. Together, we are building a new generation of Jewish leaders. MSU Hillel is the hub for over 2,700 Jewish students at Michigan State University, offering a vibrant, student-driven experience. Our team works closely with student leaders to create and execute more than 250 programs and initiatives each year. More than just a center for Jewish life, Hillel is a true “home away from home”—a close-knit, welcoming, and unmistakably Midwestern community (#PureMichigan). Located in the heart of East Lansing, just minutes from the State Capitol, students and professionals alike enjoy the charm of a classic college town, the excitement of Big Ten athletics, seasonal favorites like the cider mill, and a growing Lansing food scene. Michigan State Hillel is affiliated with Hillel International. Hillel International enriches the lives of Jewish students so they may enrich the Jewish people and the world, and envisions a world where every student is inspired to make an enduring commitment to Jewish life, learning and Israel. In 1923, Rabbi Benjamin Frankel started Hillel with humble means, a noble mission and a breathtaking vision: to convey Jewish civilization to a new generation. Today, Hillel International continues to enrich the lives of Jewish students and is the largest Jewish campus organization in the world at nearly 1,000 colleges and universities across North America and around the world. As Hillel evolves as an organization, the mission remains steadfast: to create lasting connections with every Jewish student that foster an enduring commitment to Jewish life, learning, and Israel and train them to become the next Jewish leaders.
