About The Position
The Grass Cutter at Camp Tuckaho in Troy, Missouri,, will assist with the grass cutting, weed eating and equipment maintenance for 24 hours per week. The salary for this position is $17.00 per hour. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS and ACCOUNTABILITIES • Maintains grounds by cutting grass weekly or as needed, trimming and weed removal • Performs general maintenance of the lawn mower such as changing tires, checking and changing oil, air filter etc. and week eater maintenance. • Removes limbs and rocks from grounds and takes to camp refuse area • Consistently demonstrates a climate of courtesy, respect, and professionalism to staff, volunteers, members and general public QUALIFICATIONS • Basic computer knowledge to record time worked • Meets GSUSA Membership requirements and attained the minimum age of 17 • Belief in the Mission of Girl Scouting • Abides by national and local Girl Scout policies, standards and procedures and American Camp Association standards and procedures • Holds a valid driver’s license • Has demonstrated good judgement, maturity, flexibility and ability to maintain a positive attitude
