Sony Interactive Entertainment is seeking a Graphics Programming Intern to join our high-performance team in San Diego, CA. This is a Summer 2026 internship. As a summer Graphics Programming Intern, you'll collaborate with engineers, animators, and designers to improve the tools that power the game.

Requirements

• Current enrollment in an accredited university Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field, with graduation expected between Spring 2026 and Summer 2026.
• Knowledge of C, C++, and Python (ImGui experience is a plus).
• Understanding of STL data structures and algorithms.
• Strong background in mathematics (linear algebra, geometry, vector math).
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well on a team.
• Self-motivated and eager to take initiative.
• Students with expected graduation between May 2026 - August 2026 from an accredited university.
• Advanced Degree - Master's
• Able to work during one of the following periods: May 18th - August 7th or June 15th - September 4th.
• Must be available for the entire 12-week internship period.

Nice To Haves

• ImGui experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Work with C++ and Python to support asset management, grooming, creation, and visualization tools.
• Expand in-game editor features using C++.
• Write unit tests and formalize existing game code to improve quality and reliability.
