POSITION SUMMARY The Programming internship Experience provides the opportunity for you to learn the business of recruiting talent for our stages and events at our theaters. Hands on experience with artist contract, agreement and creating offers and budget. Our paid internship program is designed to provide you with a comprehensive learning experience and gain real-world practical business experience that will jumpstart your career. The Intern will work under the direction of the Department VP, Director, or Manager. This opportunity will provide hands-on experience, networking opportunities and develop your skillset and capabilities to further your career. PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS Summer Intern program starts in June and continues for up to 8 weeks. Part-time paid internship - $15 per hour. This internship is onsite at the Broward Center for the Performing Arts or one of our affiliated venues. Schedule: Schedule varies based on the department, average 20 hours per week. Learn how to effectively communicate with various internal and external departments. Gain professional skills, including the ability to work collaboratively with others, professional conduct, ethics, and general operations. Develop team building skills, with ability to work with all levels and roles of an organization effectively. Work as part of the team to provide support to ensure reliability and efficiency with processes.
