About The Position

We are looking for a Graphic Artist to produce proofs and layouts in Illustrator that will be transferred to acrylic, glass and crystal. Job Overview: Creates mostly black and white line art and text layouts for engraving but will have opportunities to work with more colorful designs Works with customers to provide proofs for aesthetic, clean layouts that will transfer to acrylic and crystal mediums Organizes proofs to ensure they are delivered to customers and production department in a timely manner Designs and prepares potential customer layout and design ideas Available to discuss or develop designs as needed for advertising and updated layouts Sends proofs to customers for approval then transfers them to film for engraving or color print on crystal once the customer has approved proofs Converses with customers on the phone when clarification is needed for artwork Training will be provided Compensation is $18-$22 per hour depending on experience

Requirements

Trained and proficient in Adobe Illustrator (willing to learn other graphic programs)
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Must work in-office at company location
Is organized
Willing to work overtime in order to meet deadlines
