This is an in-office role based in either Huntsville, AL or Alpharetta, GA.   Position Description:  The Graphic Designer is responsible for creating visually compelling designs for marketing materials, advertising campaigns, digital assets, and branding initiatives. As a Graphic Designer, you will work closely with marketing and sales teams to produce high-quality, on-brand designs that effectively communicate our message to potential homebuyers and strengthen our brand identity. This position is perfect for an individual with a keen eye for design, attention to detail, and a passion for visual storytelling in the homebuilding industry.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 2-4 years of experience in graphic design, preferably in real estate, homebuilding, or construction industries.
  • A strong portfolio that demonstrates experience with both print and digital design projects.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams to create design solutions that meet business objectives.
  • Design Software Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.) is required.
  • Attention to Detail: Ability to create clean, accurate, and polished designs while ensuring brand consistency across all materials.
  • Typography and Layout: Strong understanding of typography, layout principles, and visual hierarchy to create clear, effective, and aesthetically pleasing designs.
  • Creativity and Problem-Solving: Ability to think creatively and develop unique design concepts that align with brand strategy and marketing goals.
  • Time Management: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively collaborate with internal teams and present design concepts.
  • Knowledge of Print and Digital Design: Experience in designing both print and digital materials, with knowledge of print production processes and digital media best practices.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with web design tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, or Canva) and basic HTML/CSS skills is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Design Creation: Develop creative and engaging designs for various marketing materials including brochures, flyers, signage, advertisements, email templates, social media graphics, and website elements.
  • Branding and Visual Identity: Ensure consistency of the homebuilder’s visual identity across all design materials, including maintaining brand guidelines and applying them to all assets. Work to reinforce the brand through compelling, visually cohesive design elements.
  • Digital Design: Design and optimize digital assets for use on the website, social media channels, digital advertising, and email marketing campaigns. Ensure that all digital designs are responsive and aligned with best practices for web and mobile platforms.
  • Marketing Collateral: Assist in the design and production of print marketing materials (e.g., brochures, posters, presentations, etc.) that communicate the company’s message to potential buyers, real estate agents, and partners.
  • Sales Support: Create visual assets to support the sales team, such as presentations, custom graphics, or client-facing materials that assist in showcasing homes, floor plans, and marketing programs.
  • Collaboration with Marketing and Sales Teams: Work closely with the marketing and sales teams to understand project requirements and ensure designs meet campaign objectives. Participate in brainstorming sessions to generate fresh ideas for marketing campaigns.
  • Photo Editing and Retouching: Edit and enhance photographs for marketing purposes, ensuring high-quality imagery that aligns with the overall aesthetic of the brand.
  • Project Management: Manage multiple design projects, working under tight deadlines while ensuring the highest quality of work and meeting the project specifications and timelines.
  • Stay Current with Design Trends: Keep up to date with the latest design trends, tools, and techniques, applying new ideas and technologies to elevate the brand’s visual appeal.
