About The Position

The Graphics Designer will provide comprehensive support to the Design Lead, encompassing a range of digital and print design tasks across various media. This role involves crafting digital and print materials for the church, school, special events, and fulfilling graphic requirements for diverse departments within Faith Assembly. Additionally, responsibilities include administrative tasks, coordinating orders, overseeing volunteers, and facilitating physical installations of graphics.

Requirements

• Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) and Microsoft Word.
• Ability to write in HTML and CSS for web pages.
• Technology knowledge and experience with Apple (Mac), Google Suite, and the ability to learn Asana, Paylocity, Planning Center, HoneyBook, ChatGPT, Shopify, and more.
• Strong understanding of printing production processes and file preparation.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and to climb, as required, for installations and material handling.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Exceptional English written and verbal communication skills.

• Associate or Bachelor’s Degree preferred
• Project management experience preferred
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Create engaging designs for rack flyers, booklets, invite cards, signage, social media assets, and website graphics.
• Design sermon series graphics, service slides, and visual assets for regularly scheduled services and special events.
• Fulfill graphic requests for various ministries, departments, and the school.
• Schedule and mentor volunteers and interns in collaboration with the Design Lead.
• Assess and implement new workflows or procedures to improve design efficiency and team organization.
• Prepare for and actively participate in creative planning meetings.
• Coordinate order pickups with vendors and ensure materials are delivered to the appropriate ministry locations.
• Assist the Media Team with the physical installation of large-format graphics, including hallway galleries, photo booths, floor/wall/window decals, and vinyl wraps.
