About The Position

We work on the biggest campaigns, the hardest issues, and for brands that want to stand out from the crowd. We're looking for a Graphic Designer to join the team. Someone who works fast, sweats the details, and makes the kind of creative that gets noticed.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of professional design experience in an agency, campaign, advocacy, or similarly fast-paced creative environment.
  • A portfolio that demonstrates strong brand identity work, digital-first design thinking, and versatility across styles.
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
  • Experience with Figma and Canva for web, collaborative design workflows, and quick-turn creative.
  • Working knowledge of Google Slides for building and maintaining presentation decks.
  • Strong understanding of typography, hierarchy, composition, and color.
  • Ability to take strategic direction and translate it into sharp, persuasive visual execution.
  • Comfortable working under tight deadlines and shifting priorities.
  • Highly organized with disciplined file management habits.
  • Clear communicator who collaborates well across teams.
  • Position is based in Washington, DC or Richmond, VA; applicants must be willing and able to fulfill the role in person.
  • Portfolio required. Applications without a portfolio will not be considered.

Nice To Haves

  • Working knowledge of After Effects a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Design bold, strategic creative across digital, social, web, print, and broadcast.
  • Build logos, campaign identities, and brand systems that feel intentional and cohesive
  • Create high-performing digital ads, landing pages, email graphics, decks, and presentation materials that are clear, persuasive, and visually dialed in.
  • Translate messaging and strategy into compelling visual storytelling.
  • Collaborate with account teams, video editors, producers, to develop integrated campaign creative.
  • Prepare and package final files - understanding specs, placements, and technical requirements.
  • Manage multiple active tasks at once while maintaining speed, organization, and attention to detail.
  • Incorporate feedback quickly and thoughtfully without losing creative integrity.
  • Maintain clean file structures, consistent naming conventions, and organized asset libraries.
