About The Position

At Kraton, we make a Positive Difference, and we are looking for individuals who are also looking to make a difference in their jobs, for our customers and to the world.  We are looking to hire a key member of our MarCom team at our Global Headquarters in The Woodlands, Texas. The Graphic Designer collaborates with the Marcomm Team to design a wide variety of elements across digital and offline media.  This position will manage a creative initiative from start to finish, guiding a cross functional creative team in the conception, design, and execution of visual materials.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in graphic design
  • Strong understanding of user experience, visual design, and design principles
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe CS (Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign. Premiere a plus.)
  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Attention to detail with high standards for accuracy and quality
  • Well-organized with ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting demanding deadlines
  • Ability to disseminate information and express thoughts succinctly
  • Capable of working independently and as part of a team
  • Self-motivated with ability to drive results even in ambiguous circumstances
  • Comfortable with receiving feedback from numerous stakeholders and team members
  • Quick study, eager to learn new tools, processes, and systems
  • Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, or a related field
  • Associate's degree + 5 years of related experience
  • HS Diploma + 7 years of related experience

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and teammates to gather requirements based on requested projects and ensure successful brand representation.
  • Artistic development and layout of marketing and promotional pieces, including print, online, mobile; social media graphics; presentations; collateral materials; trade show booth graphics, and internal and external corporate publications.
  • Design infographics, icons, banners, and other independent graphic elements.
  • Work with and make minor edits to WordPress-based websites and SharePoint-based intranet pages.
  • Coordinate with external agencies, art services, marketing, printers, and colleagues as necessary.
  • Collaborate with marketing and cross-functional teams to ensure products and visions are fully and accurately represented.
  • Monitor and consult with internal stakeholders on brand guidelines, maintaining up to date asset repositories, and enforcing when necessary.
  • Collaborate with copywriters to develop strategies for campaigns and product launches.
  • Balance competing priorities by managing & meeting multiple deadlines.
  • Maintain organization of production files and version control.
