About The Position

Assist CASAS with creative media needs for events, marketing, and print and digital materials. Essential Functions and Responsibilities Duties may include but are not limited to: Uses knowledge of current graphic design software within Adobe Creative Suite to produce print and digital materials. Ensure that all University and departmental branding and marketing standards are followed. Assist with edits and updates to previously created designs. Remain abreast of technological advances in the field, identify areas of use in the organization, and stay familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures. Demonstrate basic understanding and usage of typography, color theory, and principles and elements of design in all created pieces. Work on several projects at once, sometimes under pressure and tight deadlines. Complete special projects as assigned by supervisor.

Requirements

  • Current Liberty University student in good standing with the University
  • Able to work between 12-16 hours a week (between the hours of 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday)
  • Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
  • Experience in graphic design
  • Possess a creative mindset, intellectual curiosity, and a desire to learn
  • Able to give and receive creative feedback
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team setting
  • Must be detail-oriented and able to work well under pressure, prioritize projects, and meet deadlines
  • Eligible for Federal Work Study

Nice To Haves

  • Graphic Design major or similar major/minor
  • Photography skills
  • Photoshop/editing skills
