About The Position

We are a full-service HVAC, building automation, chiller, and retrofit contractor with a reputation for combining high-quality consulting services with customized energy solutions. Our integrated, single-source solutions include turnkey in-house capabilities with design assistance, as well as engineering applications and automated control systems. Job Summary The Graphic Designer I will take existing control drawings and convert them into graphical images using a pre-configured symbol library with drag-and-drop functionality. This position requires a technical aptitude and ability to learn new software, including the latest building control manufacturers’ software (Tridium Niagara, Distech Controls, Delta Controls, JCI FX, Schneider Andover Continuum, etc.). Graphic Designer I will work productively with supervision and be able to work in a team atmosphere.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, graphic design or equivalent experience in HVAC design preferred.
2+ years’ experience in graphical design.
Knowledge of modern procedures and methods, including telephone communications, office systems, and record keeping.
Skill in various software packages, including Microsoft Word, Visio, Excel, AutoCAD, Photoshop, and others.
Ability to establish priorities, work independently, and proceed with objectives without supervision.
Ability to handle and resolve recurring problems and computer-related issues.

Responsibilities

Develop graphical screens for the building control industry using Manufacturer Provided Software, Photoshop, SweetHome3D, and other software.
Keep accurate and organized project notes.
Good customer support for graphical issues.
Support internal teams with deployment, startup/checkout, training, etc.
Help with department documentation pages where needed.
