About The Position

Kleen-Rite Corporation is seeking a skilled part-time graphic designer to work within our marketing department. Our marketing team is made up of eleven team members, specifically with two graphic designers. This position reports directly to the Director of Marketing and is responsible for assisting with the design and production of logos, custom signage, decals, for our customers in the car wash industry. This individual will also be assisting with other marketing collateral for our customers.

Qualified candidates will have a thorough understanding of design and typography best practices, digital and print production processes and must be proficient in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft 365.

This position is open to candidates with a minimum of 2 years’ experience and the ability to work on-site at Kleen-Rite’s corporate headquarters in Columbia, PA.

Requirements

• 2+ years of proven experience in Graphic Design.
• Knowledge of layouts, graphic design fundamentals, typography, color theory. Having a keen eye for aesthetic and details.
• Knowledge & experience working within design software such as Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Acrobat Pro.
• Strong attention to detail, creative judgment, and ability to meet deadlines.
• Comfortable working independently & with a team in a fast-paced, project-driven environment.
• Prior experience working with a team.
• Punctual individual with good communication skills, both with internal teams & customers.
• Must be able to pass a post-offer, pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Work in office between 25 – 28 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
• Assist the Graphic Design Team to design and produce logos, custom signage, decals.
• Assist with other marketing collateral for our customers.
• Work directly with customers via phone & email to understand their desired project scope, confirming approvals prior to production.
• Other duties, as assigned.
