Works in conjunction and according to the direction of GES Graphic Designer Lead to best utilize computer graphic design systems and digital media development and publishing methods to provide graphic design production and layout for promotional, educational, enterprise, retail related and administrative materials for the District. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Incumbent must achieve the following outcomes with or without reasonable accommodation: Assists in the creation and production of graphic materials using a range of media, methods, techniques and equipment. Coordinates design production calendars scheduling and digital publishing systems Assists in the development and maintenance of District Graphic Design Standards Assists in the development, standardization, and maintenance of the District Brand Designs and produces camera-ready art including graphics, charts, posters, photos, and digital media content for e commerce enterprise usage…etc. Assists in the conceptualization and implementation of designs and produces instructional and administrative materials. Serves as one of the front-line communication liaison with requesting departments to plan layout and design. Assists requestors in planning appropriate presentation material to provide maximum impact and effectiveness of design, identify reasonable deadlines and budget constraints. Coordinates the art production process to ensure quality; identifies printing, digital media, and other reproduction specifications, inspects proofs for accuracy. Coordinates the video e-commerce and digital production process for all department web presence and e-commerce production products Assists with all phases of pre-press and digital operations. Assists in maintaining supplies and materials stock inventory.
