About The Position

Harding Loevner is seeking a Graphic Design Summer Intern to support the firm’s Content team. This team is responsible for creating informative and engaging content about the firm’s investment process and products, producing marketing collateral and regulatory materials, and coordinating communications through our website and social media. The intern will support the Content team on a variety of creative projects and production of marketing materials. Opportunities for learning and direct contribution to projects are available in a range of mediums including print, web, presentation, and video with specialized design topics including storytelling with data, UI/UX design, and print production. This role will interest candidates who are both artistically creative and intellectually curious.

Requirements

A third- or fourth-year student pursuing a degree in Graphic Design or a related visual communication field
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite including InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Familiarity with Microsoft Office, primarily PowerPoint for presentations and Excel for chart and data graphic creation and design
Experience with designing for the web.
Portfolio of work that demonstrates creative problem-solving and ideas with strong attention to detail
Interest in Data visualization and infographics

Nice To Haves

XD familiarity is a plus
Familiarity with coding languages a plus

Responsibilities

Flowing text and imagery into templated print-style layouts in InDesign
Designing presentation layouts with data-based graphics with PowerPoint
Concepting lead-image and infographics for written and video content for the web and social media
Ensuring internal communications are visually engaging and align with the brand and company culture
Ensuring brand compliance and consistency across materials
