About The Position

BrightKey is seeking an experienced Graphic Design & Printing Specialist in the Washington, DC area! The Graphic Design & Printing Specialist supports a large organization by delivering high-quality visual design and print production services. This role combines creative design expertise with hands-on operation of high-volume print and copy equipment. The specialist will create and maintain a wide range of visual materials—from print collateral and signage to web graphics—while ensuring production quality, brand consistency, and timely delivery. Key Information: On-Site, First shift, Monday through Friday, approximately 8:00am-5:00pm

Requirements

3–5 years of professional graphic design experience, including advanced use of Adobe Photoshop for creating and editing graphics.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud tools, including: Photoshop Illustrator InDesign Acrobat
Experience operating high-volume print and copy equipment in a production or print shop environment.
High school diploma or equivalent
A minimum of 3 years or related experience
Must be able to obtain a DOJ Public Trust clearance
US Citizenship required
Candidates must have or be able to obtain a SECURITY CLEARANCE (Public Trust)

Nice To Haves

Experience with Microsoft Access Database and Dreamweaver in preferred.
Degree in Graphic Design or related field preferred

Responsibilities

Design and produce visual materials including training guides, office signage, presentations, reports, and interactive exhibits.
Create and edit graphics for digital platforms, including webpages and internal communications.
Collaborate with stakeholders to translate concepts and requirements into effective visual solutions.
Ensure brand standards, accessibility guidelines, and visual consistency across all materials.
Prepare final files for both print and digital distribution.
Converting print materials to Web-ready formatting
Operate and maintain high-volume print and copy machinery.
Manage print jobs from intake through finishing (e.g., binding, cutting, tabbing, and packaging).
Monitor print quality, troubleshoot equipment issues, and coordinate service when needed.
Maintain inventory of paper, toner, and print supplies.
Prioritize and manage multiple production requests to meet deadlines.
