We are seeking a creative and motivated Graphic Design Intern to join our team in our Minneapolis, MN office. This entry-level internship position is ideal for students or recent graduates looking to gain hands-on experience in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. You’ll work alongside experienced designers, marketing professionals, and project managers to create engaging visual content that supports a variety of projects and initiative. This is a temporary summer internship with an expected duration of approximately three months, with start and end dates to be determined based on availability.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or a related field.
  • Basic proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
  • Strong understanding of layout, typography, color theory, and visual hierarchy.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication and willingness to learn in a team environment.
  • A portfolio showcasing design projects (Required. Online or PDF format).
  • Willing to learn and develop partnerships to successfully execute work.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with motion graphics or video editing (After Effects, Premiere Pro).
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing design.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the creation of graphics for digital and print content, including proposals, public engagement materials, social media, presentations, marketing collateral, and web assets.
  • Support brand consistency across all visual communications.
  • Edit and revise existing designs based on feedback.
  • Prepare files for production and ensure quality control standards are met.
  • Organize and maintain digital asset libraries.
