Ruoff Mortgage is looking for a Graphic Design Intern for Summer 2026. Our internship program runs from Wednesday, May 20th - Friday, August 7th. In this role, you will gain valuable experience working alongside experienced designers on a variety of projects. You will have the opportunity to develop your design skills, learn industry best practices, and contribute to the creation of engaging visual content.

  • Assist with multi-channel graphic design/marketing projects.
  • Assist Production Design Manager and Senior Graphic Designer with campaign/event design planning.
  • Pull swipe, brainstorm, and use various industry tools to help create graphic marketing vehicles (print, digital, social, events, email banners, etc.).
  • Assist in maintaining departmental compliance with federal and state regulations concerning marketing strategies and all media.
  • Ensure Brand Guidelines are followed and consistently maintained (fonts, color, palette, logo graphic standards, style, tone of voice, etc.
  • Assist with standardized projects/Open House event flyers, loan program flyers and other templated marketing.
  • Able to jump into custom projects and assist where necessary.
  • Maintain clean files and keep stored on server at all times.
  • Maintains a professional image and standards consistent with company policies and procedures, as well as our core values.
  • Responsible for a high level of confidentiality and security while handing personal information; verbal and/or written documentation.
  • Fast-paced environment. Able to shift gears and adapt while keeping a positive demeanor.
  • Perform other tasks as requested.

  • Must be working towards Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication Design or closely related field.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products-Excel, Word, Outlook.
  • Must be knowledgeable and able to use Adobe Suite products (particularly InDesign).
  • Attention to detail, multi-tasking, and broad communication skills are essential.
  • Good time management and detail focused.
  • Proofs works prior to having it reviewed.
  • Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to walk; sit; reach with hands and arms; stoop; talk and hear. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close and distance vision, peripheral vision and the ability to adjust focus. Occasionally lift, carry and/or move up to 25 pounds.
  • Work Environment: Professional atmosphere in an open work environment Routinely uses office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinet and fax machine.
  • Ideal candidates must be enrolled in an Indiana college or university, legally authorized to work in the U.S., and able to work in person at Ruoff Mortgage Corporate Headquarters in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
