About The Position

V-Tech Solutions, Inc. is seeking detail-oriented and proactive Grants Management Specialist I candidates to support grant administration and compliance in Washington, DC. The Grants Management Specialist I will assist in managing grant applications, budgets, reporting, and coordination with internal departments and external agencies to ensure compliance with District and Federal regulations.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Finance, Business, or related field
Knowledge of grant compliance regulations and financial reporting
Strong organizational and analytical skills
Ability to prepare and submit grant applications and amendments
Experience with budget development and monitoring
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and grant management systems
Effective communication and coordination skills
Ability to work collaboratively across departments

Nice To Haves

certifications in grants or financial management are a plus

Responsibilities

Ensure compliance with grantor rules and regulations; support special audits
Prepare and submit grant applications, amendments, and reports in a timely manner
Develop and adjust grant-related budgets; coordinate budgeted funds
Screen and process expenditure requests; ensure timely reimbursement applications
Serve as liaison with principals and departments regarding grant-related issues
Monitor programs and interventions funded by grants for compliance
Assign and coordinate grant-related responsibilities with budget analysts
Assist in evaluating fiscal administration of grant programs
Input, review, and approve federal grant data in the District’s Grant Management System
Coordinate staffing levels related to grants for input into Program Grant Management System
Collaborate with instructional grant personnel to ensure full compliance with funding regulations
Perform related duties as required
