An overview of this position entails…This position is responsible for assisting the Grant Manager in developing, writing, organizing, editing and completing grant proposals; preparing and submitting grant reports. This position researches and recommends funding opportunities and collaborates with internal and external parties to ensure grant requirements are met.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field and one year of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Valid Colorado Driver’s License

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain relationships with diverse program staff.
  • Write, edit and develop highly effective and complete grant proposals.
  • Coordinate all aspects of the grant process, including supporting documents, budgets, reports, and evaluations.
  • Monitor the financial management of grants in coordination with Finance. This includes budget preparation, budget modifications and expenditure tracking.
  • Actively research and identify new grant opportunities based on program need.
  • Collaborate with finance and other departments to gather information necessary to report to corporate/foundation/funders on current grant programs.
  • Assist with other fundraising projects as requested.
