About The Position
ART INC is seeking an experienced Grant Writer to help secure funding from foundations, corporations, and government agencies. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented, persuasive communicator with experience in nonprofit fundraising and a passion for arts and education. This is a remote-friendly contract position with flexible hours. Compensation is negotiable based on experience and scope of work. Virtual meetings are held twice a month.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree OR 4–5 years of grant writing experience in a nonprofit setting.
- Proven track record of securing grants from foundations, corporations, and/or government agencies.
- Strong research, communication, and storytelling skills.
- Excellent attention to detail, organization, and time management.
- Ability to meet multiple deadlines while working independently.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in arts or education organizations is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Identify and recommend funding opportunities that align with ART INC’s mission.
- Develop and prepare grant proposals and related materials as needed.
- Advise ART INC on grant strategy, process, and best practices.
