We are seeking a skilled Grant & Contracting Manager to join our agency's Philanthropy & C ommunication team. This full‑time rol e is responsible f or supporting grant development and leading contract administration to ensure accuracy, compliance, and strong stewardship of the agency's contract funding and partnerships.

Requirements

  • Associate degree in business administration, finance, or related field or equivalent experience .
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in grant writing, contract administration, billing, or a similar administrative role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., Excel, Word, Outlook) and contract management software.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects.
  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative in identifying and solving problems with minimal supervision.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in tracking data and documentation.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration , finance, or related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in grant writing, governmental billing , and/or contract administration.

Responsibilities

  • Research, identify , and evaluate new grant opportunities that advance the agency's mission and program priorities.
  • Craft compelling, mission-driven narratives that translate program impact into clear, persuasive stories , using data and real-world outcomes to inspire funders and strengthen grant proposals and reports, c ollaborating with internal teams to gather data, program details, and performance metrics.
  • Monitor grant timelines, application workflows, reporting requirements, and compliance obligations to support successful awards and renewals in database .
  • Prepare, review, and manage contracts and agreements to ensure accuracy, compliance, and alignment with agency policies and legal requirements.
  • Oversee governmental billing processes , ensuring timely submission, accurate invoicing, and proper payment reconciliation.
  • Provide administrative and operational support to the Accounting Manager and cross‑departmental teams as needed.
  • Collaborate cross- functionally with program leaders, finance, and administrative staff.
