Live Oak Classical School is eager to find teachers who love teaching, so that excellence in teaching is a personal goal as well as a school objective. For this position, teachers ideally have experience teaching in the 4th through 6th grade range and have some background in Latin (beginner to intermediate level). The Grammar 5 history course covers the early Modern Era and involves directing or assisting in the direction of a short historical play. The Bible course covers the Gospels. These teachers are marked by a passion for life-long learning, a desire to present Christ in all subjects, and the ability to communicate a strong working knowledge of the subject they teach to students.
